Summer time fun

Ok, I realize once again that I am really bad at keeping the blog up (for the real low down add me on Facebook) But it's time for the update as to how we have been. This summer has been fantastic as my Mom came out to stay with us. It has been so wonderful having her spend the last two months with us. She has helped out with the kids but headed back to Utah on Aug. 12th. We already miss her an are waiting for her to come back :) Hopefully she was able to take her mind off some of the things that have been preoccupying her mind the last few months.

Bobby played for the Yankee's this year in baseball. He had a great season and they went 15-1 winning the championship. I've been very proud at how much he has improved.

Myiah finished her first year of kid pitch softball. I'll be honest....not the easiest year for her as they went winless. But she really improved her fielding and made some great plays out in the field (I'm hoping next year she will take a swing at a pitch)

Kurstyn was just being herself as the park cheerleader. Playing with her friends at the park and getting into trouble like she normally does. She is now a Trojan Cheerleader for football and 3 years of watching her sister cheer has helped her get a head start in learning the cheers

Bobby is playing Tight End and Right Defensive End in football. He caught a pass for a touchdown on Sat.!!! It was so awesome!! He really is starting to excell in football and is a headhunter on defense. Myiah and Kurstyn cheer for his team and they will be competing in Oct. in the cheer competition

Myiah started 5th grade on the 5th of Aug. She is really enjoying her teacher and having fun in school (complete opposite of her dad) This is her last year in elementary. Bobby and Kurstyn started school last Thursday. Bobby is in 2nd grade and Kurstyn is in Kindergarten. Both are attending St. Joseph School. I'm already scouting the 8th graders at the school in preparation for basketball starting in November.

Tracey is having a great time running the cheerleading program for our community. She is very exceited as they begin to practice for the cheer competition coming up.

I'll post some pic's as soon as I find the camera.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! for the post. Now if you could just find your camera? I'm so proud of you kids (including mom and dad!) It sounds like you are not mourning too badly about summer being done, as you have exciting new adventures awaiting you this fall. Love, Aunt Beverly
